Cookies and local storage.
This page explains how MainScout and connected services may store or read information on your device.
Effective: September 14, 2026
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember settings or support site functionality without using a traditional cookie.
How MainScout uses these technologies
- Essential and functional: to operate navigation, remember appropriate preferences, protect forms and maintain administrative sessions.
- Analytics: to measure page views, devices, approximate traffic sources and interactions so the site can be improved.
- Third party: embedded content, advertising, affiliate services or external offers may set their own cookies when loaded or selected.
Google Analytics
MainScout uses Google Analytics. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to produce aggregated usage reports. Availability and cookie duration are controlled by Google and may change.
Your controls
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may affect login, preferences or interactive features. Browser privacy tools and third-party opt-out controls may provide additional choices.
Consent
Where applicable law requires prior consent for non-essential cookies, MainScout should request that choice before enabling them. Until a dedicated consent manager is installed, visitors can control cookies through their browser.
Updates and contact
This policy may change as site features and providers change. Questions may be sent to contact@mainscout.online.
